It was a useful base for our comfortable stay. Enjoyed the historic-style building and our big size room. The staff members were all amazingly nice and kind. Remote location was a plus.

Chur! The views from our room down to the river were fine, but sharing the spacious bathroom wasn't ideal. Breakfast was heaps delicious, though!

Well presented and beautiful designed place, I truly enjoyed to be here.
My room included central heating, multi-channel TV, and coffee and tea making facilities. It had comfy beds and an excellant breakfast, and the stuff where easy going:)))

The room is well presented and comfortably furnished, comes with beautiful views, Louis XV beds, for instance. The food is FINE. The location is handy, just off right next door to a railway station for trains to Glasgow, a lovely garden, and the shop round the corner, you cannot beat it. All the staff members are really helpful.
Nothing to complain about at all.

Really loved the cozy room, but the separate bathroom was a bit awkward.

Breakfast was delicious with homemade jams.
The lighting in the room was dim and uninviting. The TV was disappointingly small, and I found myself squinting to see anything. The lack of private bathroom caused a lot of inconvenience , especially when I was not alone.

I really enjoyed the huge bedroom that felt like a little apartment, and the powerful hair dryer was a nice bonus! The garden area had some cozy seating spots and a lovely space to unwind after a long day. My only minor issue was that the bathroom setup wasn't quite what I expected, but it didn't ruin the overall experience. 😊

great stay with minor room issues
The hotel had an exquisite design, making you feel at home. The breakfast featured a good array of locally sourced ingredients, ensuring each meal was a treat. The view of the amazing gardens from my room was a fantastic perk. I particularly enjoyed sipping my morning coffee while taking in the serene scenery.
The lighting in my room could be improved, as it felt somewhat dim during the evenings.

The hosts were super attentive and super cute! The views from the room were seriously amazin', we got to see the river clyde which was fine. The hotel itself has a ton of character and is really well decorated. We left our car there which was super convenient for our plans. Breakfast was delish and had local ingredients, i loved it!
